from one insomniac to the next
this shit will put you out
there’s a whole line of these drinks pertaining to different things
apparently they’re all psychological except this one
but everyone I’ve talked to said this is the only one that actually works
the first time I only drank to where my index finger is in the picture, but I was out like a light in about 45 minutes
really helpful if you’re trying to fix your sleeping pattern for school
So… there’s a lot of commentary added onto the original post I found and was going to reblog, but I wanted to clean this up so it would be easier to read.
My job involves me getting up WAY too early in the morning (think 4-6am) every day, and sometimes I’m wide awake when I know I need to sleep. I found this hack and decided to give it a shot. I drank a little less than what was indicated in the above picture and went from “AWAKE FOREVER” to “Alright, if I close my eyes I should be getting to sleep soon” within about 2-3 minutes.
Apparently the reason it works is the melatonin in the Neuro Sleep.
So, here are my warnings:
- Apparently people think you need to drink the entire bottle to get the effects. NO. At most drink about what this girl did in the picture.
- Almost a reiteration of above: just like all good things, don’t overuse it. If you find yourself going through more than a bottle a week, you’re probably overusing it.
Tips on usage:
- If you are in that state of tired where your brain won’t shut down, you know you’re exhausted, but can’t nap or switch off, a small sip is all you need to get to nappy mode.
- If it’s just about getting to sleep quickly, maybe a cup (the measurement, not just a random cup in your cupboard) should be enough to hit you hard and fast.
- Don’t take it if you need to wake up quickly in a couple of hours though. It will fuck you up, as a friend noted when taking a sip in the morning.
I found it at my local Safeway, though it was decently hard to find. For everyone else, there’s Google Shopping.
There’s also a whole line of other Neuro Drinks, which I may or may not tackle on here.
